Crock Pot Simple Taco Soup

Serves: 6 servings
  • 4-5 cups leftover roasted chicken
  • 2 lbs Chicken Broth
  • 1 can 15.25 oz Black Beans,drained
  • 3 stalks celery,cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 packets 1.25 oz Taco Seasoning mix
  • 1 can 6 oz tomato sauce ( I use Hunt's)
  • 4 tablespoons Hunt's tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • salt to season
  1. Put all of the ingredients except tomato paste,tomato sauce, taco seasoning,water and cornstarch in the slow cooker. Slow cook on high for 4 hours and add in tomato sauce and tomato paste. Mix ingredients.Season the taco soup with the taco seasoning mix. Add salt if needed.
  2. Mix cornstarch and water and add into the taco soup.
  3. Continue cooking for another 30 minutes and season with salt if needed
