FILIPINO BEEF TAPA

Ingredients
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 lbs lean beef
Instructions
  1. Slice beef into very thin slices and put into a large zip lock
  2. In a small bowl mix the rest of the ingredients and add into the beef. Make sure to coat the meat with the sauce and marinate overnight, or let it sit for 4 hours before cooking.
  3. YOU CAN FREEZE IT TOO.
  4. When ready to cook, just fry in a small amount of cooking oil and serve with egg and fried rice.
Notes
I PURPOSELY DID NOT ADD VINEGAR IN THE MARINADE,AS I LIKE THE TASTE OF THE MEAT BETTER, AND YOU CAN GO TO 2.5 LBS OF MEAT USING THE MARINADE.
