Ingredients

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Pork with Fat
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Green Onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Sticky Rice Coating

  • 1/2 cup sticky rice
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  • Place sticky rice and water in a medium-sized bowl and soak for four hours. When ready, drain the water using a strainer. Set aside.
  • Place all of the filling ingredients in a large bowl and mix until all of the ingredients are incorporated. Take one tablespoon of the mixture and fry to make sure that mixture is according to your liking.
  • Form the mixture into small balls- ping pong size- and roll into the sticky rice. Press the sticky rice gently into the meat .
  • Spray the dehydrating tray of your Instant Pot with non-stick oil and arrange pearl meat balls.
  • Add in five cups of water and cover with the Pressure cooker lid. Press the steam button and set time for five minutes. Make sure that you remove the pearl meat balls immediately to keep the moisture. Serve with soy sauce.
