Tomato Rice Instant Pot

Equipment

  • 1 instant pot duo crisp plus air fryer 8 quart

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 4 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 medium tomato this size is a bit smaller than a tennis ball

Instructions

  • You can wash and rinse your Rice if you want, but I am okay not washing my Rice. Place the Rice in the inner pot and add the water.
  • Season the Rice by adding salt, onion, and garlic powder. Add the toasted sesame oil, and put the tomato in the middle.
  • Place the inner pot in the Instant Pot base and cover it with the pressure cooker lid. Push the pressure cook setting and set the temperature to HI. Set the timer to seven minutes—quick release when done.
  • Crush the tomato and completely mix it to coat the Rice.
