Prawn Bhuna
Prawn Bhuna is a well-loved dish that is known for its deep, rich flavor and hearty texture. This recipe uses ingredients substitutions to easily make it.

Spices
- 1/4 tsp Gochugaru
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Yellow curry
- 5.3 oz Greek Yogurt plain
- 2 medium tomatoes chopped
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 2 lbs jumbo shrimp shelled
- 1 bunch Cilantro
Place the prawn in a large bowl and add the spice and the Greek yogurt. Marinate the prawn for an hour, but ideally, do it overnight.
Heat oil on medium-high heat and sautee the onions until it has black char on them. Please see photo above.
Add the garlic and tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes are tender about two more minutes.
Add the prawns and gently mix with the spices. Cover with the lid and cook for five more minutes or until the prawn has changed color.
Add the cilantro and season with salt and pepper if needed. Remove from the heat and serve.
