CARNE ASADA FRIES

Ingredients

CARNE ASADA

  • 1 lb thinly cut lean beef
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

GUACAMOLE

  • 1 avocado pitted ( you can add more avocado)
  • 1/4 cup red onion chopped
  • juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 /2 cup tomato chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

POTATO FRIES

  • 8 pieces medium sized potatoes sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup or more canola oil
  • cooking oil spray

TOPPINGS

  • Chopped gucamole
  • Mexican Cheese
  • Lime Juice

Instructions

  • Put oven rack in the middle of the oven and pre heat at 350 F.
  • Spray baking pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix all of the potato ingredients until salt and pepper coat the potatoes,then arrange potatoes in the pan.When ready, bake it for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are soft.

GUACAMOLE

  • In a medium bowl, mash avocado and add in the rest of the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.Mix completely and refrigerate until ready to use.

CARNE ASADA

  • Heat frying pan and add in beef. Cook meat until it is not pink. Add the rest of the ingredients and season accordingly. Set aside'
  • YOU CAN HEAT OIL TO COOK BEEF, BUT I OPTED NOT TO USE OIL

TO ASSEMBLE CARNE ASADA

  • When fries is ready, line them in a bowl or flat plate.
  • Add the Carne Asada on top.
  • Top the Carne Asada with the home made Guacamole.
  • Then sprinkle with Mexican cheese.

OPTIONAL:

  • Lime juice and extra gucamole
