  • 2.49 lbs chicken wings remove tips if desired
  • 1 cup water


  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 5 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger shredded
  • 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce add more if desired
  • 1-2 teaspoon fresh lime juice optional


  • Place chili powder,sugar,garlic,shredded ginger and Hoisin sauce in a small bowl. Mix completely until incorporated.
  • Meanwhile put chicken wings in a large cooking pan and add in water. Cook chicken wings until soft but not falling apart. When the chicken softens, oil will come out ....DRAIN EXCESS OIL. This time,there will be small amount of water or had evaporated. Add in sauce and gently coat chicken with the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes just to let the sauce soak into the chicken meat. Serve HOT
