30 minutes or Less French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup agave honey or syrup to sweeten, your choice ( add more or less)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 7-8 slices whole grain slice bread
  • ground cinnamon depends on how much you want. As for myself, I am so generous in using cinnamon:
  • oil spray for toasting bread

Instructions

  • Put 2 eggs, milk, sugar in a large deep plate. Mix completely to dissolve sugar and scramble egg. Spray pan or griddle with oil spray. Dip the bread one at a time into the milk and egg mixture. (NOTE: Just dip the bread to wet and and some egg mixture soak a little to the bread - do not soak the bread as it will be too gooey and yukky.) So, just wet the bread in both sides and toast it in the oiled pan/griddle. Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey or agave or syrup on top. Let the other side brown a little and flip. Drizzle the other side with honey. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Do the same to the rest of the bread. Garnish with Mascarpone cheese, and fruits. Enjoy
