Cook Jasmine rice in the instant pot

So quick! It’s fast and easy, and I’ll show you how many cups of water per cup of jasmine rice.

  •  Instant Pot Duo Crisp 11-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker with Air Fryer Lid, 8 Quart. 


  • 2 cups Jasmine Rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water


  • Place 2 cups of jasmine rice in the inner pot. Shake pot a little to level the rice.
  • Add 2 1/2 cups of water.
  • Cover using the pressure cooker lid and make sure it's sealed.
    Push the pressure cooker setting on high for seven minutes and turn the keep warm on. Push start.
    Cook Time: Cook the Jasmine rice for 7 minutes on a High setting. And leave cooking on 'LO" for ten minutes. Ensure that pressure is released before opening, by flicking the steam release valve and pushing the steam release button.


Seven minute cooking countdown will start after the pot is fully pressurized. Keep warm function will count up as "LO" function. Maintain "LO" for ten minutes and release pressure then turn off.
