Fried Rice Cooked in the Rice Cooker

Fried Rice Cooked in the Rice Cooker- nothing can be easier than this. Do you notice that when you cook fried rice, the rice and oil are just all over the place? Well, here's the solution to that!

Equipment

  • 1 mini rice cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice any brand
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can Vienna Sausage 4 oz, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 stem green onion chop

Instructions

  • Place rice in the rice cooker and add in water. Add the sausage, oil, soy sauce frozen peas and carrots. Cover the rice cooker pot and turn the rice cooker on.
  • When the rice is cook, add in the egg and let it sit in warm setting for five to ten minutes before mixing.
  • Mix the rice and add more soy sauce if you like.
  • Serve and garnish with green onion.
