Equipment

  • Instant Pot

Ingredients

  • 5 lb frozen chicken wings
  • 1/8 cup Oyster sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Tapatio Hot Sauce
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  • Add three cups of water to the inner cooking pot. Place it in the instant pot base.
Place the frozen/thawed chicken wings in the instant pot air fryer basket and put it in the base.
Cover with the pressure cooker lid and set the pressure to HI and set the time to and eight minutes thawed or frozen . Quick release when done.
When ready, remove the wings from the pot. Drain the broth, or you can use it for soup. Transfer the cooked chickenwings into a large mixing bowl, and pat dry using a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix the Oyster sauce, ketchup, and Tapatio Hot sauce. Add sauce mixture into the cooked chicken wings and gently coat the chicken wing with the Oyster sauce mixture.
Line baking pan with tin foil and arrange chicken wings. Set the oven in the Hi broil setting and broil chicken wings for fifteen to twenty minutes, or, until the chicken is gently charred on top. Make sure to keep an eye on this since broiling can burn the chicken quickly.
