Flat rice Noodle Sauce Recipe

Equipment

  • Wok or large pan

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs thin cut beef slice into thin strips
  • 190 grams Flat Rice Noodles
  • 2 stems green onion
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1/8 cup Oyster sauce divided
  • 2 tablespoons Canola Oil use whatever you want

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup Go Go Chu Jang
  • 1/4 cups Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Mix all of the sauce ingredients and set aside.
  • Put five cups of water in a large sauce pan and let it boil. Add in the rice noodles and cook until tender. About five to 8 minutes. When the flat rice noodles are cooked, rinse it with cold water to remove the starch and prevent it from sticking. Set aside.
  • Heat one tablespoon cooking oil in a large pan and saute' the beef until it changes its color. Season with Oyster sauce and season according to your liking. Remove the beef from the pan and add using the same pan heat in one tablespoon of cooking oil and saute' garlic, red and green onions,
    Add in the noodles and add two tablespoons of the homemade flat rice noodle sauce. Add more if needed. (Refrigerate left over, or you can freeze it too.)
  • Add the prepared Beef strips and gently mix. Serve hot.

Notes

Notes: Immediately wash the Flat noodles with cold water to remove the starch and prevent it from sticking together.
You can use pork, chicken or even fish as meat.
Store leftover sauce in the fridge, or you can freeze it too. Use it to saute' vegetables and for the next time you cook noodles.
