How to Cook Rice In Instant Pot Duo Crisp

Equipment

Ingredients

Jasmine Rice

  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water

Bamboo Rice

  • 1 cup Bamboo Rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Black Rice

  • 1 cup Black rice
  • 1 cup water

Sushi Rice

  • 1 cup Sushi Rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water

Brown Rice

  • 2 cups Jasmine Brown rice
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

Jasmine Rice

  • Place rice in the inner pot and wash Jasmine rice and drain the water using a strainer. This ensures that the water is drained as much as possible.
  • Add in water and cover with the pressure cooker lid. Push the pressure cook button and set the pressure to HI. Set the timer to seven minutes. When ready, quick-release pressure.

Bamboo Rice

  • Place rice in the inner pot, wash Bamboo rice, and drain water. Drain the water using a strainer. This ensures that the water is drained.
    Add in water and cover with the pressure cooker lid. Push the pressure cook button and set the pressure to HI. Set the timer to seven minutes. When ready, quick-release pressure.

Brown Rice

  • Place rice in the inner pot, wash brown rice, and drain water using a strainer. This ensures that the water is drained. Add in water and cover with the pressure cooker lid. Push the pressure cook button and set the pressure to HI. Set the timer to fifteen minutes. Quick release.

Black Rice

  • Place rice in the inner pot, wash black rice, and drain water using a strainer. This ensures that the water is drained completely. Add in water and cover with the pressure cooker lid. Push the pressure cooker button and set the pressure to HI. Set the timer to eighteen minutes. Natural release for ten minutes. After ten minutes, release the remaining pressure.

Sushi Rice

  • Place rice in the inner pot and wash the sushi rice. Drain the water using a strainer. This ensures that the water is drained. Add in water and cover with the pressure cooker lid. Push the pressure cook button and set the pressure to HI. Set the timer to seven minutes. When ready, quick-release pressure.
