Air Fryer Toast

This Air Fryer Toast was air fried for ten minutes at 400 degrees. No bacon fat splatter makes for easy cooking and filling breakfast toast.

Equipment

  • Instant Pot Duo Crisp Plus Air fryer lid

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 2 slices sliced bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 large egg
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • fresh basil leaves/cilantro

Instructions

  • Prepare the sliced bread: Place the sliced bread on a flat surface and flatten the middle of the bread. Brush the middle with unsalted butter and line the sides with bacon strips.
  • Prepare the Instant Pot: Place the inner pot to the base and put the air fryer basket place the broil/dehydrator tray and spray with non-stick oil.
  • Toast: Place the prepared slice of bread and put the egg in the middle. Sprinkle with half a teaspoon of ground pepper. Cover the base with the air fryer lid and push the air fryer button. Set the temperature to 400 degrees and set the timer to ten minutes. Start checking when the toast is at eight minutes and if the bacon crisp is to our liking, if not, let the timer finish at ten minutes. Garnish the toast with basil or cilantro.
