- 1 tbsp Pickling Spice
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup White Distilled Vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 piece bay leaves
Wash the container properly and dry it using a paper towel.
Place the salt, water, vinegar, bay leaf, sugar, and pickling spice in a large saucepan. Mix them and boil until the sugar and salt dissolve. Boil in low heat for five minutes.
Slice the red onions and place them in the prepared container. Pour the boiling pickling water over the red onions and let them cool. Seal the jar and store the pickled onions in the fridge.
