Vegetables
- 1/4 cup Cooking Oil
- 1 head Cabbage sliced into thin strips
- 1 stick Carrots Slice
- 1 piece Bell Pepper sliced into thin strips
- 3 oz Snap Peas
- 2 stalk Celery Sliced
- 2 tbsp Water
- soy sauce to taste
Broth
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 1 lb Pork Shoulder Slice into bite-sized pieces
- 1 large Red Onion Chopped
- 1/4 cup Minced Garlic
- 1 cube Chicken Bouillon
- 1 tbsp Ground pepper
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 2 cups Water
- Soy sauce
- 16 oz Bihun Noodles
Cook the vegetables
Add the cooking oil to the pan and saute' the carrots, bell pepper, snap peas, and celery. Add two tablespoons of water and season with half a tablespoon of soy sauce. Let the vegetable soften. Add the cabbage and cook until wilted. Transfer the vegetables to a plate. Set it aside. Ensure that the vegetables maintain their crispiness while cooking, so do not overcook them.
Make the broth and cook the Noodles.
Add oil and brown the pork on both sides using the same pan Cover the pan, and cook the meat on medium heat until the meat changes its color, When ready, push the meat to the side of the pan and saute' the garlic and onions.
Add two cups of water and cook the pork until tender. Check the water/broth in once in a while to remove scum. This will be your broth.
Season the meat/broth with soy sauce and with salt, ground pepper, onion, and garlic powder - season according to your liking.
Add the Bihun noodles, let them soften, and let them absorb the remaining liquid. Add the cooked vegetables and mix gently.
