Turmeric Rice Bowl

Make this easy Trumeric Rice Bowl in the Instant Pot using simple ingredients

Equipment

  • 1 instant pot duo crisp plus air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Jasmine Rice
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Red Onions
  • 21/2 Cups Beef Stock
  • 1 tsp turmeric

Instructions

  • You can wash your rice if you want, I don't wash it. If you do, lessen the water remove 1/8 cup of water.
  • Prepare the Instant Pot: Put the inner pot into the Instant Pot base and push the sautee setting. After three minutes, add the butter. Add the garlic and red onions.Sautee for two minutes. Add the rice and the turmeric. You can add saffron if you want, but I highly recommend. Add the beef stock.
  • Cancel the sautee setting and press the pressure cook setting. Cover with the pressure cooker lid and push the pressure cooker button. Set the pressure to HI and set the time to seven minutes. Quick release when done.

Turmeric Rice Bowl

  • Place the cook Turmeric Rice in a bowl. Add the cook Pork or beef Tapa. Tap with mango salsa and sprinkle with Garlic Sauce.

Notes

  • In the picture and video, I marinated the pork with beef Tapa marinade and simply fry it.
  • The salsa is made of mango, green onion and Anaheim pepper seasoned with salt, pepper and toasted sesame oil.
