Ube Brownies
Ube Brownies is a fusion of Filipino purple yam and classic chocolatey goodness. They are irresistibly delightful treats that are easy to make and use simple ingredients!

Dry Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Corn Starch
- 1 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter
- 11/2 cups Brown sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/3 cup Ube Halaya please see note for the recipe
- 2 tsps Ube flavor
Toppings
- 1 cup White Chocolate
- 3/4 cup Chop Walnut
Prepare the Oven and the Pan
Prepare the wet Ingredients.
Put the butter in a small-sized saucepan and melt the butter using low heat. When the butter is melted, remove from the heat and add the sugar. Mix until the sugar dissolves. Add the eggs. Ensure the butter mixture is cold before you add the eggs. You want to avoid cooking the egg. Mix the egg thoroughly and add the Ube Halaya and the Ube Flavoring. Mix the ingredients together until smooth.
Combine the dry Ingredients.
Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Top it with white Chocolate and nuts. Press the Chocolate and nut gently into the batter. Bake the Ube Brownies in a 338 F preheated oven from 20 to thirty minutes; start checking at 18 minutes. If you use a bigger pan, make sure to check your brownies in fifteen minutes or less.
Once baked, let the brownies cool down before serving.
