Place the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar in the mixing bowl. Mix using a wire whisk. Attach the hook attachment and turn on low speed.
Heat water in the microwave or the oven until warm. Slowly add the water until the dough comes together.
Now, you can add the butter and mix at medium speed for eight to fourteen minutes or until the dough is smooth.
Remove the dough from the bowl. Spray the bowl with nonstick oil. Form the dough into a ball and put it back into the bowl. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for one hour.
Punch the risen dough to release air.
Flatten the dough into a rectangle half an inch thick. Fill the dough with ube halaya. Fold the dough on both ends and cut them into strips, as shown in the video.
Roll both ends to form a round dough and seal on both sides. Put the dough in the prepared pan. Loosely cover the dough with plastic wrap and let the dough rise for another thirty minutes.
Put the oven rack in the middle of the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spray the cupcake pan with nonstick oil.
Bake the dough in a preheated oven for 8 to 12 minutes. Let the Ube Swirl bread cool down.
