Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • Tin foil
  • Instant Pot Duo Crisp Plus Air fryer lid 8 quart
  • Air Fryer Basket

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings sections
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp baking powder

Honey Lemon Pepper Wings Sauce

  • 2 lemons Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

  • Pat dry chicken wing sections with a paper towel. Put into a medium-sized bowl or a Ziploc. Add salt and baking powder. Cover or seal and let it sit in the fridge for thirty minutes.

Make the Sauce

  • Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl until all of the ingredients are well incorporated. Simmer the sauce on low heat until the sauce thickens. Let it cool and set it aside until ready to use.

Cook in the Instant Pot

  • Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick oil. Line five to six pieces of prepared chicken wings sections and spray with the nonstick oil.
  • Cover using an air-fryer lid and set the air fryer button settings. Set the timer to twenty-two minutes and set the temperature at 390 F.
  • Remove the chicken from the air fryer basket and put it in a large bowl. Pour in the Honey Lemon Pepper Wings sauce and gently toss to coat it to the chicken.

Cook in the Conventional Oven

  • Preheat oven. Cover the baking sheet with tin foil and line it with a baking tray, Spray the tray with nonstick oil and bake for thirty to forty-five minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the baking sheet and put it in a large bowl. Pour in the Honey Lemon Pepper Wings sauce and gently toss to coat it to the chicken.
