1 large frying pan
1 strainer
- 2 tbsp Homemade Chicken Seasoning
- 1/2 lb Chicken Breast
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
How to Cook Pasta in the Instant Pot
If you want to cook the pasta in the Instant Pot, put the inner pot in the Instant Pot base. Break the pasta in the middle and drop it into the inner pot. Add water to cover. Cover the Instant Pot with the pressure cooker lid and push the pressure cooker button setting. Set it to HI and set the timer to ten minutes. Quick release when done.
Cook the chicken
Slice the chicken horizontally into two thin slices. Season both sides with homemade chicken seasoning. Let the chicken rest overnight or for fifteen minutes.
Melt butter on low heat and fry the chicken on both sides. Transfer to a plate.
Add olive oil to the same pan and toast the remaining homemade chicken seasoning for two minutes on low heat, scraping the pan. Add the heavy whipping cream and let it simmer. Add the parmesan cheese. Let the Parmesan cheese melt, and add the cooked pasta. Add the reserved pasta water if you want want the sauce to be less thick.
Add the lemon juice and the parsley. Season according to your liking.
To serve, put the cooked chicken on top.
