Equipment

  • 1 Instant Pot Duo Crisp Plus Air Fryer 8 quart
  • 1 steaming rack
  • 1 Air Fryer Basket

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Cream Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 stems Chopped Green onion
  • 1 pack Wonton wrapper

Instructions

How to Make Crab Rangoon

  • Shred the crab meat and put it in a medium-sized bowl. Add the cream cheese and chopped green onions into the bowl. Add in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

How to Wrap

  • Place a teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper.  Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a bit of water.
  • Fold the wrapper in half diagonally. This not only ensures they’re secure but also adds a decorative touch.
  • Heat Canola oil until the oil temperature reaches 350 F. Gently drop the crab rangoon and cook them until golden brown.
  • Place the fried rangoons on a plate lined with a paper towel to drain the excess oil.

Reheat the Crab Rangoons in the Air Fryer

  • Put the inner pot in the base and insert the air fryer basket. Put on the steaming rack.
  • No Need to Preheat the Air Fryer.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick oil and line the fried crab rangoon in the air fryer basket.
  • Push the air fry setting and set the temperature to 325 F, and air fry to reheat for three to five minutes until the center is heated. You can start checking at three minutes.

What do you Do with the leftover filling

  • Place the filling in an air-tight container, cover the top with a plastic wrap, and freeze.
