Cook Jasmine rice in the instant pot
So quick! It’s fast and easy, and I’ll show you how many cups of water per cup of jasmine rice.

- 2 cups Jasmine Rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
I don't rinse my rice. You can rinse the rice to remove extra starch. When you do so, drain the water completely by using a strainer. This is very important procedure, so that your rice is not mushy when it is cooked.
Place 2 cups of jasmine rice in the inner pot. Shake pot a little to level the rice.
Add 2 1/2 cups of water.
Cover using the pressure cooker lid and make sure it's sealed.Push the pressure cooker setting on high for seven minutes and turn the keep warm on. Push start.Cook Time: Cook the Jasmine rice for 7 minutes on a High setting. Quick release when done.
