How to Cook Turkey Breast in the Instant Pot
This is an overview of how to make Pink sauce—the complete step-by-step process on the recipe card.
- Brining–Begin by brining your turkey breast. Combine the ingredients for the brine and the turkey for two days, allowing the flavor to soak into the breast. Doing so will ensure that the turkey has some infused flavor in it.
- Perfecting the rub-in in this recipe, I ensured the rub-in ingredients were easy to come by. Chances are you already have these ingredients: mix the rub ingredients. Once the brining is complete, apply the rub generously, ensuring an even coating. This not only adds flavor but contributes to a beautiful, golden-brown exterior.
- Pressure Cook- Put the turkey on the trivet and brush it with the rub. Make sure to rub the turkey all over. If you have a leftover rub, pour it inside the turkey breast. Transfer the turkey to the inner pot. For a 1-pound turkey breast, set the Instant Pot to six minutes. I have 6. 95 lbs of turkey. I rounded it to seven pounds and cooked the turkey breast for forty minutes since I still had to air fry it.
- Serve and Enjoy-The result? A perfectly cooked, flavorful turkey breast will impress everyone at the table.
How to Store Leftover Instant Turkey Bone-in Turkey Breast:
- Refrigeration:
- Consume within 3-4 days for the best quality.
- Freezing:
- If you have more leftovers than you can enjoy in a few days, consider freezing them. Package the turkey in airtight freezer bags or containers, which can be stored for 2-3 months.
- Reheating:
- To reheat, gently warm the turkey. Add a splash of chicken broth to maintain moisture during reheating.
