My husband and I made a short trip to Leavenworth, Washington, and it was worth the 5-hour drive to change environments and settings and relax our minds.
We booked in Der Rittenhoff Inn. The hotel is cheaper for this time of year, which is spring. It offers a complimentary breakfast, and it is within walking distance of the city center. The square features a variety of eateries, stores, and gift shops.
And if you want to eat sausages, Crude has delicious ones, which you can buy in three flavors for $ 25.
You need to try the Pretzels. The tour guide highly recommended the Rhein Haus so we got the mini ones, which were just enough for my husband and me.
I loved the Kris Kringle store, a Christmas decor store that’s open all year round.
The square can be crowded, so try to explore the town early in the morning. Then, the city is all yours. After that, go on a stroll to the riverfront park. It’s a shorter loop with stunning mountain views, and you might be lucky enough to spot deer.
There are several fun activities you can do in Leavenworth in the Spring, or Summer! You can check out the Mini Golf Place near the square, you can visit the Deer Farm so much more! I hope you enjoy it.
