One Pot Sticky 30 Minute Chicken Wings

This One Pot, Sticky, and Finger Licking good wings can blow your mind away. It is really good. Just perfect for an appetizer in any party your are preparing. It will ran out fast like a wind. Your hand will get messy from the sauce that is really creamy and a sauce that is a mixture of sweetness and a bit of saltiness from the Hoisin Sauce.

JUST LOOK AT THAT " SAUCY SHINE." Tempting, right? DON'T YOU WANT TO PUT YOUR HANDS OUT AND GRAB THOSE CHICKEN WINGS?

But let's be patient here... First, you have to prepare the sauce and clean the chicken wings!

One Pot Sticky 30 Minute Chicken Wings

Preparing this Appetizer is a no brainer... It all starts with the sauce which is a mixture :

  1. 1 tablespoon chili powder
  2. 2 tablespoon sugar
  3. 5 cloves garlic,finely chopped
  4. 1 inch ginger, shredded
  5. 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce ( add more if desired)
  6. 1-2 teaspoon fresh lime juice, optional

Some of you may  not be a Ginger lover  like me (see post Shrimp and Crispy Ginger) , but the Ginger is a MUST here. You can't skip it because it added spunk to the meal....

One Pot Sticky 30 Minute Chicken Wings

SORRY, THE IMAGES ARE PRETTY DIFFERENT... it is because I took the photos at different occasions...

I have prepared this One Pot Chicken Wings so many times and every time it is a hit... I make a batch also to bring to lunch and for dinner. When I prepare this, I usually drain the excess oil from the wings, ALTHOUGH USUALLY, THE CHICKEN WINGS taste really good with that oil, BUT LET'S ALL AGREE, LET'S DRAIN THE EXCESS OIL, OK?

Please enjoy this, will yah?

It is indeed confusing. I will change the instructions once I am totally settled (we moved).

Actually, there is no oil in the recipe . You boil the chicken with the water and then once the chicken softens, oil from the chicken comes out. It is up to you to drain it or not, but for me I drain the oil so that it will be a little healthy....

There is Louisiana Hot Sauce in your photo, but not mentioned in the recipe. Do you use it in this dish? What type of chili powder do you mean...Korean, or American?

    Thanks.

Hello, Carol. I/my family used the Louisiana sauce as additional spice when we eat this meal but this is not included in the recipe. The chili powder I used is the common chili powder we use here in the US-the Mc Cormick one..
