Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Chicken Thigh or Chicken Breast
- 4 cloves Minced Garlic
- 1 Inch Chopped Ginger
- 4 Stalks Green Onion
- 4 pieces Dried Chilis
- 2 cups Canola Oil
Marinade
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp White Granulated Sugar
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tbsp roasted Sesame Oil
General Tso Sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 tsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- Slice the chicken meat into bite-sized pieces. Transfer to a bowl and the marinade ingredients. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate the meat overnight.
- Drain the marinade and roll the chicken meat into the cornstarch. Heat oil and deep fry the chicken until golden brown. Drain the excess oil on the paper towel.
