How do you cook it?
Now that you’ve got your ingredients in order let’s move on to the cooking procedure. Follow these steps for a mouthwatering dish.
Step 1: Place the Bone In the Chicken Thigh In the Inner Pot
- Place the chicken in the inner pot and add the teriyaki sauce, water, red and green Onion.
- Cover with the pressure cooker lid. Push the pressure cooker button setting. Set the timer to twenty minutes. Quickly release when done.
Step 2: Serve and Enjoy

Instant Pot Teriyaki Chicken Thighs using bottled teriyaki sauce
Equipment
- 1 Instant Pot Duo Crisp Plus Air Fryer 8 quart
Ingredients
- 3 pieces Bone- in chicken thigh
- 1/8 cup water
- 1/2 cup Store Bought Teriyaki Sauce
- 1/4 cup Chopped Red Onion
- 2 stalks Green Onion
Instructions
Cook the Teriyaki Chicken in the Instant Pot
- Set the inner pot in the Instant Pot Base.
- Arrange the chicken thigh with the skin up. Pour the water and the Teriyaki sauce. Add the green onions and red onions.
- Cover with the pressure cooker lid and push the pressure cooker button setting. Set pressure to HI and set the timer to twenty minutes. Quickly release when done.

- The bottled Teriyaki Sauce I used is salty and seasoned according to my liking. If the bottled Teriyaki sauce you are using is not salty or not at par to your taste, feel free to season according to your liking.
