3 Bean Salad Recipe – You cannot be too vegan than this salad. If you look and browse back in my blog, you will not see a lot of salad recipes because I am too picky about a salad’s taste. It must taste good. Texture should be rough or smooth enough; and most, I should love the dressing and its smell. This 3 Bean Salad recipe just pass those requirements. I made this salad several times whenever I get caught of a healthy meal bug.
Believe it or not, but when I was in the Philippines before I left home for college,I only eat meat every Sunday. All throughout the week, I only eat one piece of fish, veggies and fruit with very small amount of rice. That’s why when I was in the PI, I maintained my weight of 98 lbs.
Moving here in the US tells a different story meal wise. It started with not being familiar with the vegetables offered in the stores. The safest thing to eat is meat. Now, for 18 years since living here in the US, I have been eating meat every single day. Saying that, I feel like puking…. it is really a shame because meat eating has been passed on to my kids. I, as a parent, I feel extremely guilty about that. So once in a while, I make salad. Particularly this 3 Bean Salad.
