Salmon with Avocado Salsa
I was talking to a friend last week and then she leaned on and put her forehead on my shoulders and said, ” I am not on my real self today. ” I asked why, and she told me how her son was crying and whining early that morning because he did not want to go to school. I felt for her because my son is like that too. Every morning is always a struggle harvesting him off the couch. Every morning is like pulling teeth. These kids are hating school and they are only in third grade. I think it is too early to feel this, right?
Who loves school anyway. Although I do not have any memory of hating grade school or high school, my memory of hating college is so vivid. I abhorred it every day. Maybe I was not in the right program, but college just felt like a mission that needed to get done and over with. I never liked it. PERIOD! So I have an inkling idea on how these kids feel, but I am taking away their right to abhor school at this age. So go to school they must…

When I started blogging, I am following this guy/blogger named Neil Patel. He is a young entrepreneur and a blogger of Quick Sprout. I tell you, this guy started his business from scratch and he has this oozing confidence in his capabilities. He made millions through his innate marketing talent. I am a big fan. Neil Patel wrote an article in his blog titled How Much Money Do you Really Need? There he emphasized on how important good education is to live a comfortable life. So I used that article as an example for my son to at least be encouraged and to stop hating going to school. I usually do this.(Lechon Kawali Recipe and Tien Sauce) If my calculation does not fail me, my son still has 3,780 days until he graduates college, and this does not include his masters and doctorate degree.
