Hey guys! It’s crazy. Our grocery store don’t have yeast and “my” special flour. I have shared about the yeast being extinct in my post 2 Ingredient Dough and while, maybe editing or typing that post, people in Central Oregon have been panic buying the self rising flour…
it looks like after people were hoarding toilet paper, they decided to move on and decide to hoard on yeast and “MY SPECIAL FLOUR.”
Although I am frustrated, I am not worried because I thought I can make my own… and how will I do that?
I got super creative and asked google ( why did i find it funny?) . And it led me to All recipes and found the recipe.
I am so surprise that I already have the ingredients to make it. Just these three staples in your pantry:
All purpose flour
So from now on, I will not be paying extra and just make “MY OWN FLOUR. ”

HOW TO MAKE SELF RISING FLOUR
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Mix all of the ingredients and store in a container until ready to use.
