This flat rice noodle sauce recipe is easy to follow and it uses simples Asian sauces combine together to make your flat noodles tasty. The sauce sticks to the noodles and is very creamy.
Flat rice Noodle Sauce Recipe
This Flat rice Noodle Sauce Recipe takes only twenty minutes to make. It’s perfect for dinner and lunch. Make a huge batch for leftovers.
I love quick dinner or meals. And this meal right here is very easy to make, and the outcome is really good too. I often make huge batch so that I can pack it for lunch the next day.
I use beef in this recipe, but you can use any meat you like. Use chicken, pork, even fish if you like. This really a versatile meal. Add more veggies like carrots, broccoli or beans to make it poop with color.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs thin cut beef slice into thin strips
- 190 grams Flat Rice Noodles
- 2 stems green onion
- 1 small red onion
- 1/8 cup Oyster sauce divided
- 2 tablespoons Canola Oil use whatever you want
Sauce Ingredients - 1/2 cup Oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup Go Go Chu Jang
- 1/4 cups Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
How to Make Flat Rice Noodles
Step one: Mix all of the sauce ingredients and set aside.
Step two: Put five cups of water in a large sauce pan and let it boil. Add in the rice noodles and cook until tender. About five to 8 minutes. When the flat rice noodles are cooked, rinse it with cold water to remove the starch and prevent it from sticking. Set aside.
Step three: Heat one tablespoon cooking oil in a large pan and saute’ the beef until it changes its color. Season with Oyster sauce and season according to your liking. Remove the beef from the pan and add using the same pan heat in one tablespoon of cooking oil and saute’ garlic, red and green onions,
Step four: Add in the noodles and add two tablespoons of the homemade flat rice noodle sauce. Add more if needed. (Refrigerate left over, or you can freeze it too.)
Add the prepared Beef strips and gently mix. Serve hot.
