Why Choose Air Fryer Salmon?
Using an air fryer to cook salmon offers several advantages. It’s a healthier cooking method than traditional frying, requiring minimal oil and flaky texture. Plus, it’s quick—perfect for busy weeknight dinners or when you want a fuss-free meal.

- Salmon fillets, skin-on (about 6 oz each)
- Toasted Sesame Oil
- Salt and pepper
- Onion and Garlic Powder
- Gochugaru
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon:

- Season both sides of the salmon
- No need to Preheat the Air Fryer:
- The temperature I used is 360 F and thirteen minutes of cooking time.
- Cooking:

- Air Fryer Salmon Recipe with Skin Air Fryer Temperature:
- Cook the salmon at 360 F for thirteen minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. For medium-rare salmon, aim for 8 minutes; for well-done, go up to fifteen minutes.
- If your salmon has a thinner and thicker side, you may need to adjust the timing slightly or remove the thinner pieces earlier to prevent overcooking.
- Check Doneness:
- After the cooking time is up, check the salmon for doneness. It should be opaque and flake easily with a fork. If needed, you can cook for an additional minute or two.
- Serve:
- Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer basket using tongs or a spatula.
Tips
- Adjust Seasonings: preference. Lemon zest, dill, or thyme can add extra flavor.
