Instant Pot Air Fryer Ling Cod Taco with Pineapple Salsa is an easy meal made in the Instant Pot. It’s a tasty and filling meal the whole family will love. I used my Homemade Fish Seasoning and it made the dish more flavorful.
Instant Pot Air Fryer Ling Cod Taco with Pineapple Salsa
There are two processes in this meal: Make the Fish sticks and Pineapple Salsa. Both are easy processes, and both yield a filling meal.
My husband and my son went deep bottom fishing three weeks ago, and they were able to get their limit, so I have xxxxx of various fishes in my freezer. I have cooked it steamed, fried, fish and chips, and this Ling Cod Taco. Ideally, I could have deep fried the fish stick, but since I love my Instant Pot Duo Crisp plus Air Fryer, I need to use it, right? I am so in love with this little appliance.
Equipment:
Keep in mind that I am using my Instant Pot Duo Crisp plus Air Fryer. I heard that each Instant Pot cooks differently. Check your manual on how to use your Instant Pot Brand.
Ingredients:
- Fish- you can use any type of fish with lean meat. In this post today, I used Ling Cod. Salmon or trout will be great for this.
- Egg – this will serve as a binding agent. It will hold the bread crumbs together, giving the fish crisps and giving it a golden color.
- Flour and Panko Bread Crumbs- Gives the fish stick flavor, and golden color and adds crispiness to the fish.
How do you make Fish Stick for this Tacos?
Step one: I highly recommend pat drying the fish with a paper towel. Season the fish with the Homemade Fish Seasoning
Step two: Prepare your breading station. Beat the egg in a bowl, and place the flour and Panko bread crumbs on a plate.
Step three: Dip the seasoned fish in the flour and dip the fish into the egg and roll into the bread crumbs. Arrange the fish sticks in the Air Fryer basket and air fry for eight minutes.
Step four: Prepare all of the Pineapple Salsa ingredients and mix them together in a medium-sized bowl.
